Monday Math: Beautiful Dance Moves
Although Mondays can be blah, I look forward to them. Why? I have zumba on Monday nights after work. Therefore, this Monday Math combines my two loves, math...and zumba.
Do I sense a premonition?

Monday Math: English Major
This is the epitome of my roommate and I in college. She was the English major and I was the Math major :)

Monday Math: Answered My Calculator
If your Mondays are anything like my Mondays, your body is there but your mind is not. I wouldn't be surprised if I did this at some time or another.
Monday Math will be a special feature every Monday with math fails. Because my other love is laughter.

The Distance Formula...Revealed!
To find the distance between two points, use the distance formula. The distance formula is based on the Pythagorean Theorem. The Pythagorean Theorem is used to find the hypotenuse of a right triangle.
Now let's graph this same triangle on a coordinate plane. The distance of the two sides are x-coordinates and y-coordinates subtracted. Plugging this into the Pythagorean Theorem results in the distance formula.
I hope you find this helpful (and readable). It is difficult to type math equations, so I have started writing on graph paper with Sharpie. Let me know if this is okay, or if you have other suggestions.
